Modla Studios was tasked by client M&C Saatchi to create a unique unboxing experience for the launch of Adidas’ new 3D-printed trainers, the 4D FWD. The team wanted to create an experience that would showcase the futuristic form of the trainers, and they integrated a number of techniques to achieve this.
The experience begins with a miniature 3D-printed puzzle that the user must assemble to create a key. This key then unlocks a bespoke magnetic mechanism designed by Modla Studios. Once unlocked, the box lights up and a speaker system plays audio.
The boxes were used at the launch event in LA and were also delivered to some famous names, including Kylie Kloss and Elon Musk.
The Adidas 4D FWD unboxing experience is a great example of Modla Studios’ ability to create innovative and engaging solutions. The team is known for its creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to helping clients achieve their goals.
