For a global project that brought together two iconic brands, Heineken and UEFA Champions League, Modla Studios was selected to design a packaging and visual identity system that would enhance the match viewing experience and place Heineken at the very center of the UCL ritual.
We developed a one-of-a-kind experience that showcased both the UEFA Champions League and Heineken larger on one side, and Europa League and Heineken 0.0 on the other. Upon receiving the package, each side would play the respective theme tune of the events to immerse the user in the brand and event through the packaging.
Working closely with our client, M & C Saatchi, we developed a range of concept ideas with varying costs. Our in-house 3D design team turned these concepts into prototypes and visualizations, which were then refined and developed over the course of one week. The 250 boxes were then manufactured over a two week period.
